Hi 5 months ago I became pregnant and unfortunately had a miscarriage and now I'm pregnant again but I was treated for chlamydia after my last pregnancy and I've already been checked for STI's again so would I still have to do it at the clinic?

Hi there,

I'm sorry I just want to check - are you asking about whether or not you would have to have an STI test if you had an abortion?

Best wishes,

Katherine

Hi there,

No, you don't have to have an STI test if you are having an abortion. You might be offered one but you don't have to take a test if you don't want to.

I hope that helps. Just let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Best wishes,

Katherine
