Hello, I'm experiencing constipation, I try to explain, before I was very regular , like going to toilet every Morning, I took Antibiotics for an UTI I had and also prostatitis but very silly I remembered later to take probiotics When I stopped the antibiotics I start to have small stool very dry(like goat ) , than after taking psyllium less dry , than suddenly I stopped. Passing lots of air also. I went to the gastroenterologist he told me that probably is constipation and he prescribed me laxative called stipsigol and some probiotics but it's not only constipation, it is also this pain to the abdomen, first of all I have acid burns that I treat with Marial, than there is this pain to the left side but it's not always there it moves also to the right or to the center, I had also feeling heaviness to the anus area. My gastroenterologist gave me also some exam on the stool. I use to drink and I'm doing also now lots of water. I remember before UTI I took pure magnesium in pills, flax oil supplement and serenoa(saw palmetto) but I stopped because I actually don't know if it was bad by taking it. I'm not always an active person this mean that sometimes I move really a lot but sometimes not so much. There are also period that I move really a lot. This happen to me also another time I was abroad and suddenly I stopped. I remember it was very stressful period for me and I ate very bad that time. There in abroad they made me an edema, and they gave me magnesium milk and the situation unblocked after a week. This doctor is not so fan of enemas, so he prefered to give me osmotic laxative but to take in 10 days but it looks like I go to toilet only by taking it. Recently I was eating quite healthy at least in my opinion plenty of veggies, fruit and so on. Does anyone had this kind of condition ? Any advices?

thanks to all

my best wishes

We cannot give medical advice on here. You perhaps need to tell your gastro or change gastro if no progress.Good Luck.

I understand, I'm not asking for medical advice, otherwise I will not on this kind of forum. My GI, thinks is normal constipation and gave me already some laxative, plus some exam on the stool to undertake like calprotectin I was wondering if someone has a similarity in symptoms like mine.

Thank you
