Hi everyone.

Please I want to ask does anyone tried

Binosto soluble once a week ?

And what’s the main side effect of this medicine ?

I take soluble alendronic acid once a week. I sit or stand upright for half an hour afterwards as directed, then usually have something to eat after that time. Occasionally I feel nauseous but otherwise no side effects (touch wood).

Hi Raneena. I've been taking the soluble Binosto for about 4 months. Usually give a gentle stir to make sure it's completely dissolved. Occasionally have a bit of heartburn. Also have a few mouthfuls of water some minutes before (just water is ok) - on one occasion it was the first drink of the morning and for a few mins had a weird pain as it went into my stomach!

I was put on annual zoledronic acid perfusions as I have Acid Reflux, same family of drug. It makes me dopey for a couple of days so I get it done on a Friday and then I am fine for a year, no extra stomach pains etc. I also have diverticultus and the drugs have no effect on that. I am highly allergic, can't eat tomatoes, citrus fruit or anything in the pepper family but the drugs are fine.
