Denosumab

This is my 3rd injection of denosumab.Have had neck and back pain after all injections. Also makes me feel very tired

,and don't feel up to doing much.

I have 3 spinal fractures told about them Jan 2023. I feel I may have snother fracture. Sometimes feel as if a knife is going into my back. Has anybody else had similar problems with Denisumab.

Would be very interested to know.

Hi Girlguides. I’ve been on Denosumab now for about three or four years. I can only praise it up. I’ve had no fractures since being on it. I do however have a lot of pain when doing things from the already seven fractures I had before. No side effects otherwise.;

Thank you maybe the pain I'm getting is from my three fractures. I never thought of that. Thank for replying. It's a thought.

I imagine it is. Once your spine fractures it doesn’t heal in the same place so you are going to feel pain. I hate it. I could have strong drugs but I drive my car and I want to still do that for the time being at least. I do find Paracetamol and CBD oil help.

I only take paracetamol and use ibuprofin 10% gel. I was also given strong medication but don't want to take them. Yes I also hate the pain also in my neck. Thank you for covering with me it's so helpful full. Thank you.

I can’t take Ibubrofen because of my tummy.

I get pain in my neck and shoulders if I do too much. I can’t hold my head up. Like having a shower or wash and also standing at the sink washing up.

I think we are just falling apart. 😹. Not that it’s much fun being in pain and I find people don’t understand and want you to do more than we are capable of.

Yes I understand you same for me neck and shoulder pain when doing to much. Maybe could be the injection!I'm to gave 6 injections I've had 3. 3 more to go.

I meant to tell you I have a neck and heat pad, which helps a lot.

I'm using it at the moment neck shoulder and back pain .

It definitely helps.

Hi I find where my fractures are is very warm so an ice pack works for me.
