Hi im new to the bone health page...I have Hyperthyroid and my thyroid is multi nodular..I was diagnosed 2013 by my previous doctor but I was not told I have it and it wasn't followed through.I have recently had a bone density scan and was diagnosed with Osteoporosis.

On the 5th of September I am booked in to have an IV TREATMENT OF ZOLEDRONATE?

Has anyone here had this treatment, what's it like and what are the side effects and after effects.

Thanks in advance, Coulby🌻

Hi I had my first IV Zoledronate in may after having 2 years of teraparitide injections. The infusion was give over 20 minutes and was fine, the next day I felt a bit like I had the flu, just took paracetamol as advised by the hospital and have been fine since. Was advised by a friend to start Turmeric with black pepper to help my joints. Hope this helps you
