Movymia ( Teriparatide)

Hi, if anyone has been or is being treated with teriparatide brand Movymia I would love to hear your experience of how you use it and how you got on with it.

I had Teriparatide Sonny. I got heart palpitations after each injection. Also felt incredibly tired and low mood, and generally unwell. This got worse over the weeks so I stopped the treatment after six weeks.

I had movymia for 2 years and absolutely no side effects. Only problem was the unreliable delivery service for the medication. Not having any other n now

Hi can I ask after the two years of taking Movymia did your bone density improve? Did they test your bone density again?

Just starting the treatment but very nervous.

Hi suthmada I finished Movymia last April and my bones had improved by 17.5% on the dexa scan I had after my treatment finish I’m now on 3 years of yearly infusion of Zoledronate which my consultant said was to maintain that improvement. Had no problems with the daily injections, hope all goes well for you.

did you have good results when your treatment ended?

Who delivered your treatment? If it was unreliable do you mean there were delays in getting it to you.

I am always hearing from my pharmacist that one or the other of my repeat meds are out of stock not good at all. x
