I seem to recall a post containing a recommendation for a particular brand of whey powder as being good to include into diet for Osteoporosis but I forgot to mark it.

Please can anyone help?

HiHave been using Healthy Chef (Teresa Cutter) products for quite awhile, but am dairy free, so I take the Organic Pea Protein dairy free protein but see a Naturopath who prescribes Hydoxypatite form of absorbable calcium to compensate for being dairy free.

Has been my saviour as she is very qualified and has some lovely nutritious recipes and Wholefood supplements.

There is a Whey protein that is very good for you called WPI -so worth trying -she is based in Australia.

Hope that helps

Thanks for you reply - I will certainly investigate both your suggestions. I went completely dairy free for a few years and found it helped other conditions and now tend to stay with fermented dairy and just avoid milk, my sister is completely dairy intolerant so obviously a family trait.

Hi -Nice to hear back. I went dairy free on the advice of my Naturopath but mainly because I have MS and dairy protein is to be avoided strictly. You could get the Whey protein (dairy) and the Organic Pea Protein (dairy free) from Healthy Chef and alternate as I think she ships internationally. But be aware as her products are so nutritionally good and taste great -that I am addicted 😀

Interesting as I have Myasthenia - often called MS’s little sister and used to receive a lot of help from the MS centres here in UK. I had a look at the site - looks great but can’t see that they ship internationally but there are similar types in UK, doesn’t look as good though.

Sorry to hear that, but great you received help from MS Centres. I follow an MS diet (on the OMS website) by George Jelinek who was an emergency Physician here in Perth when he was diagnosed with MS. He then did a lot of research then put it in a book to give us the information. It helped him and gave me and his readers some hope going forward, Have been relatively symptom free since 2000.I checked the Healthy Chef websiteunder shipping -and they do worldwide shipping that takes between 3 to 10 days.

PS - I have used the Pea Protein but recently moved house and for some reason it’s completely unavailable in the supermarkets here in SE England?
