Had one Prolia shot and the itching is unbearable. Did anyone else have this problem, and if so, what did you use for relief?

Unfortunately it is a (common) side effect of this drug (eczema, blisters, dry skin, peeling, redness, itching, small bumps) but as to what to use for relief, I hope someone can help you with that.

Is Prolia the same as teriparatide ? If so, I self injected for 2 years as prescribed ,with no ill effects at all. Now finished. As well as osteoporosis, I have glaucoma/cataracts (hopefully op due May/June), under active thyroid, lymphodema, asthma, and just added, arthritis !!! otherwise I am fine !!!. (86 and glad to be alive)

If it gets worse or you get a rash, tell your doctor - it could be an allergic reaction and you will need medical attention.

I only discovered late last year that my nightmare skin issues are more than likely a result of having Prolia. Only relief I get is taking the oral steroids (prednisone), which is only a short term fix because they destroy your bones and have lots of other nasty unwanted side effects too!
