Kid 3 years old nearly 4 always with reddish ankles as shown in photo but painless and without any walking disability. The reddish will lighten to pinkish but never turn into skin colour. Somemore, there was a patch of bruise appeared above the ankles of both legs while he was only few months old, but now one is lighten and the another is disappeared while he is growing up. Can anybody share yours knowledge about this? Thanks

Could you get a second opinion? If it isn't causing any pain or discomfort, it's unlikely to be of any great concern. Does it look anything like this (scroll down to see picture of ankle) pcds.org.uk/clinical-guidan...?

Not really look like that... Since it never spread larger then the ankle...the size is constant and the colour will change from darker to lighter pinkish or vice versa

If you're worried, I'd get a second opinion, but I expect your doctor is right :)
