Sorry to hear, but it could be worse! Along with your calcium there are a lot of micronutrients which are very important. Vitamin D3 of course, but also Vitamin K2, both of which you will probably have to get through supplements. Note K2 is not the same as K1. Most other important micronutrients, like magnesium, should be available in a healthy well balanced diet. And the best kind of exercise is weight bearing, maybe even just walking. Do as much appropriate exercise as you can manage - that stimulates the body to build more bone. All the best.

I wish I had received a diagnosis of osteopenia rather than osteoporosis. At least you have had a wake up call/warning and can more than likely improve your T- scores ok. May i ask why you had a dexa in the first instance? Are you in the UK?
