Depending on your general state of health, whether you have serious levels of pain in your spine, and your feelings about a natural approach I would tend towards resisting any of the osteoporosis drugs, at least until you have given a natural course of treatment a good shot. I wrote a little essay (to keep track of my own journey mostly but it seems to have been useful to other people). If you like I could private message it to you.

Hi I'd be interested to know what a natural course of treatment would consist of. (Im taking Alendronic acid for v low spine bone density - -3.2)

I'll send you my little "essay". Please note that I'm on a learning curve myself, but this is what I've been doing for myself.

Morning Heron. Seeing GP on Friday , have had xray results gp and I not happy with results so she is contacting orthopaedic hospital were dexa scan done asking them to take a look she called me yesterday .

I have a very good working relationship with her she has taken good care of my GCA letting me lead doses of pred plus treating side effects .FealFeal better then have in last 2 years at this time just got to deal with this One thing I will use to make my decision is a risk analysis from

Leeds university for me my risk needs to be 70%+
