Why I'll Keep Fighting

THIS is why we have to keep fighting and raising awareness of HCC and pushing for a cure. This was taken at our family Christmas Eve dinner. This is three generations of a family that were impacted by HCC this year because they lost a spouse, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle. This is just one part of the family. Jimmy also has a brother and his children and grandchildren plus my son, Jimmy's son and granddaughter, cousins, friends... All experienced Christmas for the first time without a special loved one because of HCC. I think so often we don't realize the huge number of family members and friends that also suffer the loss. This is why I'll keep doing whatever I can to help.. so hopefully one day there won't be an empty chair at Christmas because a loved one had HCC.
