Hi everyone. I hope everyone is having a good week. We're hanging in there. Jimmy fell three times last week working out the in yard. Has a good sized bruise in ribcage so he's been taking it easier this week since he's pretty sore. We did have a good time last Saturday. We went to a rodeo in a nearby small town. It's a yearly event that we try to attend. Back in the,day Jimmy actually competed in it. He was hurting from the falls but determined for us to go .
We really enjoyed it and everyone was great about helping Jimmy get around on the bleachers. They have a live band and dance after rodeo. We stayed and danced for awhile. Next month is another one we try to make so hopefully he'll feel like going. Wanted to share a picture of us dancing.

I sure hope Jimmy heals up quickly, that sounds painful. But I also love that he's still his stubborn self, working in the yard and insisting on going to the rodeo! Sending much love to you both! 💕
Good morning Wendy my friend.💗I read your message to Jimmy and he laughed. Yep still my stubborn,hard headed 🤠. Yes, he's all about making memories and trying to get things done around here. Making the most of the time that God gives us.
Hope you have a great day. We're having a cold front today. It's only going to be 98 degrees. LoL. Then back up between 102-104 for next 10 days. So hard trying to keep the garden from burning up. 🥵
I laughed out loud at your cold front!! Oh my gosh. I had the windows open last night and it got down to 59 degrees - the house was freezing this morning and I loved it. (The cats, not so much 😂)
You do such an amazing job with that garden. I know it's hard and sometimes frustrating work, but my goodness, you have that touch. I love seeing your harvests and the things you're canning. I am working hard at keeping my one basil plant alive - LOL!!
