Hi there, I’m 70 years old. My vision went cloudy, double and I couldn’t see earlier in the summer. It lasted for a few seconds. I took my BP and it was high. My GP prescribed 5mg amlododine but they happened a few more times so I’ve been referred to a neurologist and put on clopidogrel. My BP is still high and I am now on 50 mg losartan and 10mg lercanidipine.
Has anyone else had visual loss due to high BP?

hello Lowtidelover, I have taken several bp meds over the past 7 years, Lercanidipine seems to be the least worst one for me, if that makes sense! I have a few side effects, headache, pounding heart rate and difficulty sleeping, but not the vision issue that you mention, not sure if that's mentioned on the long list of side effects on the meds leaflet,
I do hope you get sorted out as these meds have been a minefield for me,
