Blood pressure monitor

Hi I have recently had a 24 hour blood pressure monitor. The doctor has rang today to say that the readings are fine yet they want to see me tomorrow for an ECG and urine test. What would this be about? Does anyone have experience in this?

Let them do the worriting.

You relax and have a nice cuppaT.

They are just covering all the angles.

Are you on any medications??

as Madlegs says. It very much depends on why you had a 24 hour monitor. Write down what you need to say to whoever you see, and if possible bring someone with you to take a note of what they say, just in case you’re a teeny bit nervous and forget.

In the meantime, and assuming you have high blood pressure, why not have a look at the website of Blood Pressure UK, the specialist charity. You’ll then be a bit more familiar with what’s going on.

Not what you're looking for?
