Hi guys, is it concerning if blood pressure at night is consistently high? Morning and daytime is about 135/85ish but every night I check at 8pm, it is about 150/90. I don't have any work stress as don't work atm and no kids so no kid stress

Just a couple of thoughts - wonder if you are drinking enough water? Are you resting for ten minutes before you take the pressure?

Hi Happyrosie , I drink 2 litres a day plus two or three cups of decaffinated tea

I wait 10 minutes, do a reading, wait another 5 and do a second reading and wait another 5 for a third reading, sat in the same place with the cuff on and back supported. The 3 readings are all very close to each other, for instance tonights were: 153/92, 150/90 & 153/91

Evening reading I always make sure is before evening meal, so it's always taken 4 hours after I've last eaten anything

Wow perfection!

The charity in the UK which specialises in blood pressure matters is Blood Pressure UK. Have a look at their website to see if anything gives you a clue about this . They have a helpline too to maybe give them a ring?
