feeling ill after flu jab
I’m Type 1 Diabetic with BP medication, after the very first covid jab I became Ill, very very high blood sugars, I was taking 4 - 6 shots a day to try and get it under control for weeks, finally started with good sugars and had the second injection against covid. My life turned upside down. I actually woke up with paramedics at the side of my bed …this hadn’t happened in over 30 years! Long story short extremely high blood sugars followed by very low ones….this could happen within hours. I phoned the GP every day for 2 months no one was available. The receptionist told me to go to the hospital if it happened again!!!! I won’t even start about my BP medication!
I struggled with it for months and months, then the booster injections came due, I wanted the GP’s advice, couldn’t get hold of anyone in the weeks I called, so in the end I took my own advise and haven’t had any of the covid injections since…and never will again…it was just awful. I have had the latest flu jab and have had that every year, without a problem!
Sounds like your suffering like I did, good look.
My husband was ill for 24 hours after each booster but recovered. I personally feel that each of us reacts differently to these things. I just got a sore arm, myself, but I would put being ill from a flu jab as preferred to getting Covid, which at my age (77) is likely to be severe
Hi my husband for the last 2-3 years of having a flu jab, has always spent 3 day's ill in bed. So he has decided to not have it. It does make us wonder what the hell they are pumping into us.
When there's an infection, the body releases chemicals to fight the infection and those chemicals make you feel bad. Feeling ill after vaccination is your immune system activating and can often be an indicator of how your body would react to the actual infection. People will react differently because we have different immune systems
