hi everyone, I’ve started Lercandipine 3 days ago and my bp is still high at the moment. I get a pulsing feeling all day in my head feel a bit fuzzy and have done for a few months now so I know it’s not the medication.. what I wondered is can high blood pressure make you feel weird like that as I thought it had no symptoms? I also suffer with anxiety which probably doesn’t help but find it hard to believe that can make you feel fuzzy all the time.. how long to the meds take to start really working? Thanks

despite the fact that the “experts” say high blood pressure can’t be felt, out in the general population (like on this forum) people say they can. For my part, if I can feel my pulse higher than normal when I’m resting it usually means my pressure is up a bit.

After one stressful event before 5 years, after which my BP was 190/120 for a while, I definitely felt it in my head - uneasyness, internal pressure, problems with thinking and reacting... My "normal" BP is somewhere 140/90 to 150/100, so these values were really high.
