Amlodipine issues

I am struggling with amlodipine and indapamide but that doesn't sound unusual.

What doses are you on and what side effects are you referring to?

I started taking both drugs about a month ago, blood pressure went down but I was suffering some unwanted side effects from Amlodipine. Had telephone consult with GP on Monday who said stop taking it, start measuring BP from next week and she will ring back to see how things are. Do you have side effects?

I was prescribed Amiodipine early in Feb and tbh the first 8 -10 weeks were not pleasant. Anxiety, light headedness etc but it did improve a lot eventually.Seemed to take ages for the body to accept the drug but after 4 months feeling normal again, thank goodness. BP down a fair bit too.

Hi, I've been taking Amlodopine and Losartan for high blood pressure for about fifteen years. My BP was under control but I suffered joint aches and pains, particularly in the lumbar area. Six months ago I cut the dose of each by half and now aches and pains have diminished greatly, whilst my blood pressure has gone down to below 120/70.

has anyone seen any side effects of amidiopine of additional acid reflux and indigestion. mine seems to have gone worse since taking the medicine
