Labetalol

i got put on 800mg the last probably 3 weeks of my pregnancy for gestational induced hypertension, as soon as i’d given birth it made me feel so weird and panicky and like i couldn’t breathe constantly ...anyway the doctors lowered it 2 weeks ago to 200mg of it & i still don’t feel right but have noticed my blood pressure is abit low sometimes now...has anyone else had any weird side effects or experience with labetalol? i feel constantly dizzy/lightheaded aswell

U need to contact your GP or midwife again , feeling like this with a new baby is no joke. U should be told what your B/P reading are and if u say B/P is now low they need to review it ASAP. Good luck with it all hope it gets resolved soon.🍀

i went to see the GP yesterday and he suspected it was low but when he took it (after making me walk upstairs and stuff) it was like 130/80 he took it again another 2 times after waiting and it was still the same so he said he wasn’t going to lower my dose just don’t know why i feel so dizzy and lightheaded because he initially thought it was because my BP was too low but clearly not ...but thankyou
