I have just been to my see my GP and my blood pressure is still to high. I take Amlodipine 10mg and my doctor is going to put me on more tablets to sort my high blood pressure out.
I don't know if it's a guy thing to feel really worried as I don't really want more medication.

I know how you feel, I have uncontrollable hypertension despite being on six different blood pressure medications, they are not working. My GP has reffered me to a Cardiologist for specialist treatment. I had an echocardiogram which showed I have an enlarged heart, I have another appointment at the end of August. I checked my Blood pressure today and it was 232/161.
HI. I am so sorry about your blood pressure level. My doctor told my about a situation similar to yours. He however, stressed the importance of using original drugs than the generic drugs. Amlodipine and Lysinopril are his effective combination in situations like yours. 20mg each. I hope you can discuss this with your GP. Be positive and take each day at a time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
