i am an osteo arthritis patient. i am taking tablets and physio therapy.i am 80 years old. of late i am having severe burning sensation in both the knees. due to this i am deprived of sleep and i have to wake up frequently. i am not diabetic. those who know about this problem, please reply with remedial measure

These are probably contributing to your knees I only take fish oils as I had side effect from the tablets you mention. Also I go on a web site called elder gym and this has been a big help. I am 72 by the way.

Have a word with the Pharmasist who handles your prescription..one he would know what you are taking and two should be able to advise best course of action...either investigation of your burning knees or possible suggested remedies to help you...the main question for your GP is why these symptoms are happening..but we are all different and it may be something quite simple to remedy.Good luck...
