I have mild emphysema. Spirometry test and xray confirmed, doc only prescribed Ventolin and discontinued Pulmicort.

What is the best Preventative Inhaler. I am going bavk to see doc. As i think i should have a preventative inhaler. What has been best for you. Love your advice xx

Must be reason doctor took you of steriod inhaler .. But issue is are you suffering from a lot of mucus coughing quite a bit of s""" up

A think if your just using vetolin a don't think thats all you should be on you need anti infamtion inhaler

Email or phone BLF thay will give you best advice

Thank you so much.for your reply. Had been coughing up fot 10 weeks with chest infection. Sent for xray etc. When diagnosed with mild emphysema he said i didnt need steriod only Ventolin.

Hi I'm Sam I have emphysema I had 2 very serious phymonia that I was hours from death that left me with this horrible disease I don't understand doctors with these inhalers all I know is when I cand breath properly I just need any thing to help me I have never been on hear but I'm great full for all the things other people say it let you know your not alone with this disease
