Think some of these changes are going to make some people really angry.

Some may be good ,but i think maybe the gov are now trying to do too many changes too fast.

Thank you very much for providing this useful link, a bit of a minefield. Can see some good points but as usual concerned that the vulnerable will lose out again.

Thanks for the link Jo. I really don't know what we will do about these changes, I have severe COPD and my husband has mental health problems. One of his (many issues) is not being able to talk to people over the phone - which caused a bit of a problem when the jobcentre people phoned to talk to him as they couldn't discuss it with me because they didn't have me down as his 'spokesperson'! Hey ho!

Just wondering aloud but it does state that .....

"PIP will replace DLA for people between 16 and 64 from April 2013.

Now in April I will be 64 and 11 months so in reality I will not be between 16 and 64 will I.

Go on, go on, tell me I'm just being plain stupid !

Thank you for this link. It is good to see it in a concise form, makes it much more understandable.

I personally feel that the system needed a shake-up, however, this may be too much, too quick. Have they got the system in place to deal with all the changes CORRECTLY, or will we find the overpayment sanctions in place through no fault of our own?

I do agree, there will be some, often vulnerable, people who will be worse off, but hopefully ? it may reduce the fraudulant claims, that give us all such a bad name.Or am I just wishing on a star??

Nobody likes change, you can not make plans when you do not know your financial position.

However I feel these changes are neccesary, if only to help the country from drowning under the sheer number of staff needed to provide and moniter the present ad-hoc system.

I know I may be heckled and jeered for my agreement to the changes, but I think it is about time some changes were made.

It is not often I agree with government, but I think we have been due these changes to the benefit sytem for some time.

Unfortunately it is US who have to bear the changover period.

What I will think after the changes have been implemented we will just have to wait and see, as I live in the area that is first to go, It won't be long to wait and see will it?

I hope I haven't upset too many people, these are after all, my personal thoughts, be they right or wrong in your eyes. Linda XX
