Urgent Petition needed...for the Antibody Test..to the Government for all Immune Suppressed people

Hi everyone..I am reaching out to anyone that can help set up a petition? As one of so many Immune Suppressed people, I cannot believe we have just been left and swept 7nder the carpet by the Government. It's dreadful. There is a test that can be done to check your antibody response to the vaccines. It is fact that if you are Immune Suppressed there is a huge chance the vaccines have not worked, and therefore left us with no protection at all, or very little. How can we survive out there at all, with no protection..we should at least know how much antibody we have, or at the very least advice on what the proposed to do..

You can post a petition here:

petition.parliament.uk/

But check first if someone has not already posted one on same subject as a duplicate post won't be accepted.

CEV and right to furlough is one that needs more signatures.

petition.parliament.uk/peti...

You need 10,000 signatures for government to respond and 100,00 before the petition will be heard in parliament.

Good luck post a link here for people to sign when you have received notification your petitions has been accepted and published.

You can start a petition here:

petition.parliament.uk/peti...

Later on, you'll need email addresses for 5 supporters to get your petition started

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

But a quicker way would be to install and register on the Zoe App.

This is the provided link:

gov.uk/register-coronavirus...

Quote from an email sent to me by the Zoe study:

"Hello ZOE Contributor,

As a valued contributor to the ZOE COVID Study we’re excited to offer you a COVID-19 antibody test.

By testing for COVID-19 antibodies and logging your results in the app, you can help us understand how many historical COVID cases may have been missed, how long COVID-19 antibodies last and how many people have them.

Why are we inviting you?

We’re inviting you because you’ve experienced symptoms in the past but might not have logged a positive PCR test.

An antibody test can detect natural antibodies left behind after infection. It doesn’t matter whether you had symptoms a month ago or a year ago, the test can reveal if you had COVID-19 in the past.

The type of antibody test being offered can only detect antibodies from natural infection, not antibodies that result from vaccination. Having antibodies does not mean you are immune (protected) from further infection.

We’re able to offer you this test thanks to our relationship with the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC). The testing process is run by the DHSC, who also send out the test kits to you, and no data will be shared with ZOE unless you choose to record it in our app. It’s entirely up to you if you want to take the test or not.

How to get involved

Head to the NHS website to register for your kit

Select that you’ve been invited by the ‘COVID Symptom Study app (by ZOE)’

You’ll get a finger prick test kit sent to you in the post to do at home

Follow the test’s instructions carefully (watch this handy video) - this step will take some courage, but we promise, it’s not nearly as bad as you think!

Send the sample back using the prepaid envelope provided in the test kit

You’ll get your result via text message

Finally and most importantly (for us), enter your antibody test result in the ZOE app!

If you have any problems with your kit or haven’t received your kit yet, please call 119 for advice. ZOE doesn’t handle the ordering, sending, or use of antibody tests.

Please note, the kits are provided with latex gloves which may cause an allergic reaction in some individuals. Please do not use if you have a known allergy or sensitivity to latex. If you suspect you may have an allergy, it is best to seek medical advice from a licensed medical professional

Please keep logging your health with the ZOE COVID Study and make sure you enter the results of your antibody test once you have them, even if your results are negative.

Thank you for your ongoing support.

Keep safe and keep logging.

The ZOE COVID Study team"

The antibodies from having the vaccine are different from those generated by the B-cells from infection, as explained in some of my past posts.

Further:

Can antibody tests tell you if a COVID-19 vaccine worked? Published March 29, 2021

mdanderson.org/cancerwise/w...

"A vaccinated person is very likely to get a negative result from a serology test, even if the vaccine was successful and protective. That’s because different serology tests detect antibodies to different parts of the virus."

I was sent a test from Zoe

Both Sharon and I have done one, as we thought, both came back as being positive, which was good to confirm because there were no tests available at the time, unless you were admitted to hospital.

Sharon did test positive again later, but with absolutely no symptoms, the test was done at the nursing home. I strongly think that contamination had occurred to give a false positive, Covid was still rife in the nursing home at the time. I had no symptoms at that time either, tested as negative.

Yes I was glad to be offered antigen test having had Covid in December and been doubly vaccinated. Positive result which has come as a relief as been on high steroids since November. Poor battered Immune System doing its best !

Gosh, it's a lot more complicated than I understood!😲

I paid for antibody tests as I needed to know what level of protection I had before starting to rejoin the outside world. They came back negative for any antibodies from a vaccine so I guess I’m not going anywhere until tests for T cells are available to see if I’m more successful there.

Thankyou so much for your reply. I feel for you truly. I feel the same, I have not had the antibody test, but im disgusted the Government have just left us (people with immune suppression) to rot, seriously without a care or thought..we just have to stay locked up like animals because they won't tweak the already existing test. It's disgusting and beyond cruel, and someone should hold them responsible., this test is not ideal, but its there and I know can be altered to test our levels, and there are many things that could be done to help us if levels are indeed way to low and thus not providing cover. Sorry, I am on a rant, but I wouldn't treat anyone or anything this way, and so many people just do not realise how truly dangerous this situ is for us, as they think, oh ive had my jabs im fine, but its not the case. If you are immune suppressed, there is a strong chance you have little or no protection from the vaccines.

I worry that there are people out there who think they are vaccinated and in reality they aren’t and if the catch Covid it could be so dangerous for them. I wonder if all these cases of double jabbed Covid cases/deaths are people that haven’t created any antibodies. My sisters friend work colleague is part of the research group into antibodies - she is in her 50s with no underlying health issues and generally healthy and her antibody test came back negative!

Hi Angie, that is very concerning, stay well and safe.

I note from the NHS page even people who have tested positive for covid won't always show they have anti bodies after testing;
