Pip failure update.

Hi everyone, just to let you know the mandatory reconsideration has been submitted. Also I had a appointment with Age UK. They are going to help me with the appeal.Things are looking brighter. Just to remind people I have only one lung, heart disease and fibromyalgia. Fused ribs and various other things including Asthma and still got refused pip after transferring from DLA.

Hi Toby when I was refused DLA ,I got intouch with age UK, they came to my home,through them on appeal I was allowed it ,age UK were really good ,I also had some back pay ,hope all goes well for you

Good luck Toby, I am sure they just need to look at your conditions and without even seeing you should give the award, the system has become nonsense and doesnt seem to stop the fraudsters, hopefully you will get back pay as well x

Hi Toby I’m glad you got in touch with age concern and they are going to help you. I was just wondering can you not get them to come to your home for the review? This would make you more relaxed and let them know how having all these health problems effects your daily living . One tip don’t put up with stupid questions regarding your health as they asked my friend and brother in law how long can they hold their arms up in the air on a good day , also on a bad day , both answered that they couldn’t now what has this question got to do with chronic pain and copd my brother in law asked , thE man doing the interview said sorry but I have a list of questions I need to ask you but can’t give you a reason as I don’t have one myself. Seems like a question for nothing . I used age uk to help me fill forms in for A/A and I got it took about 2 hours to do but worth it.

As I’m 74 can’t apply for pip.
