Don's PR Walking Test.

β€’28 Replies

So Don set off on his walking test

In his running shorts and vest.

He certainly looked determined

To do his very best.

Now turbo charged by his PR course

Expectations were high.

But someone left an open door

No one quite knows why.

Don shot off right out of sight,

Going like the clappers

Nobody here has seen him since.

Not that it really matters. πŸ™„

Hope you got home safe and sound. The current inclement weather is not suited to a bard of your stature. Plus the sight of your knobbly knees might inflame a passing ladys passion.😍

Love you Don, just turn round, you will eventually get home.xxxπŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

πŸ˜…πŸ˜… I hope you're now safely back home having a nice hot cuppa, it's far too cold, wet and windy to be running around like a two year old. πŸ’¨β˜”οΈπŸƒπŸΌ

in reply to Hacienda

My first girlfriend was a ballerina. We held hands and looked into each others eyes, it was so romantic. She lived next door but two from my parents house and helped me to cross a busy road on the way to school. I was five or six and she a couple of years older. When she started ballet school I never saw her again. πŸ˜₯

Very Interesting Don, Thank You. You were very lucky to have known her, even though for a short time in your younger Life. She was a Cosmopolitan Girl, Just like ourselves on this Forum, The connections are here, Liverpool, Paris, Tokyo, Switzerland. We are all One Varied family Don. She Travelled well with her Ballet. I wonder if we have a Ballerina on Here ? Hugs xxxx

Don actually Came back, the Very next Day, in quite a Bad way, He couldn't find anywhere to stay, and he needed to pay...His way!

That's not too bad for three, and a half, minutes work. even if I Say So myself.

I don't know Mr D., this is NOT my 'Page'....I'm was just 'Reading the Rhyme', because I had the time!

Thank you Don

Please find him quickly. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Seriously I hope you amazed them with your improvement.

Well done.

in reply to Whitechinchilla

I did improve quite a bit. πŸ™‚ These Pulmonary Rehabilitation courses give you a phycological boost as well as a physical one. It's a great pity that some areas of the country seem to have difficulty in providing them for deserving cases. I was told that I would likely be offered another one at the same time next year and if I am I will certainly take it up.

Cap'n it is worth asking if you could take another course in 10 months as some courses will accommodate this. Say how much you gained from it and would very much like not to have to wait the full year. It also helps to take a nice box of biscuits or two along for the instructors . . . . :-)

in reply to majji

Ah! My lovely proofreader is back. 😊 The timing of the course I've just completed was ideal for me. I find January and February the worst months to deal with when I feel almost housebound so the next at the same time would suit me best. I did think about chocolates, but the last educational chat they gave was on healthy eating.πŸ€”

Lotsalols Cap'n - the educational chat was for you - not necessarily applicable to them - I am sure we will all look forward to your next course ;-)
