I'm new to this, and, very nervous.

So please forgive my reticence.

Anyone 'out there' in same position?

Feeling that am alone and without help.

Gary.

Hi Gary. I'm not in your exact position but I wanted to let you know, in no uncertain terms, that you are not alone. It sounds like you've had an incredibly tough time that would make anybody feel lonely and unsure. I'm very new to this forum and COPD in general but have found it an incredibly uplifting, supportive and encouraging place. Stick around. We all have very different stories but are united in our being here to support each other. Do you feel like telling us a bit more about yourself or how you're feeling about it all? There will certainly be more people along shortly to say hi. xx

Hi Gary welcome to the community. I’m sure you will gain a lot from joining us. When you’re able tell us your story. I was diagnosed with emphysema and asthma in my 40’s. I’m now in my 70’s and still going strong. Take care Barbs x
