Brochiectasis diagnosed - questions to ask GP

Hi I'm Lina

Been told I have bronchiectasis as I had a ct scan ordered by my Gastro Dr due to losing a lot of weight and anxiety sky high due to see my gp as I see him on a montly basis since losing weight. I have been referred by gastro dr to a lung respiratory consultant but don't know how quick I will get an appointment.

Can I ask what questions I need to ask the gp.

Thanks

Lina

I have Bronciatacesis. Ask them what you can do to clear your lungs.

I have used a lot of natural techniques but everyone is different. I drink lots of herbal tea with honey, use organic oils such as eucalyptus and peppermint.

Try to walk and move around.

I understand your anxiety. I have it too.

I have learned a lot from others on here.

Good luck to you!

prayers.

I would also ask your go for a sputum test, to make sure you can rule out any bacteria that shouldn't be there....better to be safe and know what else you might have...at least you will know
