My asthma Doctor always refers to steroid inhalers...that it heals the lungs, I quest from constant inflammation. What do you all think?

Weird that your doctor says that, as nothing 'heals' the lungs. It will probably help your symptoms and breathing but there is currently no cure x
As Dedalus says, nothing heals the lungs. What steroids do is to reduce inflammation so that the airways are less narrow and air can flow in and out more easily.
I wish health practitioners wouldn't use such imprecise language.
Thank you for all the replies....Just don't know why my Allergy/Asthma Dr...Always says that on my medicine protocol.
