Check up after my cat scan was expecting to hear if suitable for endobroncial valves

Feb 2016 referral for lung transplant assessment fev1 had dropped to 29%

August 2016 fev1 45% everything else still poor repeat cat scan in new year

Yesterday fev1 still 40% gas transfer low but walking abilities 50% improvement

5 excerpations last year 2 this same period of time

So too soon to risk valves review in 9 months Dr B (edited) says keep doing what I'm doing singing and exercising with the warblers it's clearly working. His words

It is a great way of improving the breathing, unless of course you have to listen to my singing! ;)

Hahaha it's not about singing well lol Wiganwarblers aren't about being perfect.

It's the breathing technics & the light exercises more than the singing that's the key.

We are more a singalong type group yes we pratisice extension of the breath but the singing actually only a tiny part of it.

But you get better the more you do it I promise you

Isn't it great what singing can do to help. If you're a UK health unlockeder but not near Wigan, check out the other singing groups on the BLF page blf.org.uk/support-for-you/.... You don't have to be a perfect singer to join in this fun exercise.
