Achievement!

Just changed the sheets on my king size bed without having to stop to catch my breath. Haven't done that in a long time. Small but significant step for me.

Congratulations, small steps lead to bigger steps. Talking of steps how are you doing with the little outdoor adventures, are you gaining any confidence?

Took my daughter's little dog for a walk last Sunday, with my daughter. Walked for about 20 minutes and felt good. Been treadmilling everyday - a little increase week by week. So glad of our conversation - it really got me on the move. Thank you, again.

I am proud! Only a couple of weeks ago I'd have gad to stop once I'd stripped the bed, again after fitted sheet, again after pillowcases and practically fall down once I'd got the duvet in the cover and given it a shake!

Wow! Well done. Mind you, that was one of the jobs I hated doing so I'm quite glad I can't do it now. My oh does it, although the duvet isn't always flat inside the cover.

My oh doesn't really get it! Keeps telling me to get better. Given up explaining how it feels, but he has made me reluctant to ask for help which is probably the best thing for me at this stage. Makes me tackle things I really doubt I can do, but best to keep going and doing what I can for as long as I can.

I must be in my Sunday, post-exercise, frivolous mood. When I first read your post I thought you hadn't changed the sheets in a long time!! Then reality kicked in. Well done ! Every little milestone is an indicator that something is improving.

Good luck,

Dec

Ha! Re-read my post and can see why you thought that. Really I'm quite clean and change sheets weekly but this week it was easier. The exercising is obviously paying dividends.

I wait until my sister comes over and she does it for me just to hard. She is a blessing.

A blessing indeed! I'd wait a long time for my sister to help - she lives in Spain😄 I have 2 daughters who would gladly do it for e, but I think that's the top if a slippery slope.
