I Named This Painting 'Peace'.

Not my best painting but, I like this - and names the paining 'Peace' Was photographed outside as the light indoors was poor.

Thank you - I liked this when I painted, even though I had to take photo outside because of the light. i like painting candles and with the birds, I though it looked peaceful.

Interestingly Coolcat, I could "crop" it as it is, with the garden background as the frame! I think you and I would be in a bidding war for this painting 😜.

The garden background was because of bad light indoors. I think the shade went with the painting..x

Ern I do like your style, whatever its called. Did you come to painting late in the day. I think you had said you've only recently come to acrylics. I think your paintings are a cross between Matisse, Chagall and ..... I will leave the gap to you!

My style is I guess Fantasy Art (Including space) - With flowers Impressionism.

Marc Chagall a modern artist - The Bride and The Last supper comes to mind - I am at best an Impressionist and Fantasy Art painter so hard to fit in a box.

You certainly make good use of your imagination, Ern. At first glance I thought you had incorporated your painting with an actual water feature in your garden! You certainly achieved the peace you were looking for, loads of talent there. 🙂

Thank you Donald - The light indoors that day was gloomy - Artificial light on that pic would not have worked, so took it in garden. Garden another big part of my life.

Thank you - To be honest everything seems different when i am painting, I used to years ago paint watercolor but as sedate as that was, I prefer acrylics.

Thank you. My first acrylic painting was a deep waterfall, I like painting waterfalls and if in a cave, I put in ledges with blooms and candles..
