does anybody have a good diet and exercise regime for people with COPD usual interstitial pneumonia

High I have just had the onset of fibrosis (Usual interstitial pneumonia) I think. it is called. I am on a short course of corticosteroids.

Ask GP for a referral to pulmonary rehabilitation to get you started with the exercise and from there you can expand into other forms of exercise.

I've lost over 1 stone in 8 weeks by joining Slimming world and feel brilliant and am able to walk much further now. I have emphysema and fibrosis of the lung caused by radiotherapy 25 years ago. Give it a go!

Thanks have jumped on my daughter in laws weight watcher and copying her poor pensioner I am afraid it is big business though

thanks a bundle done as you suggested and feeling more positive started both a diet and exercise program Have you read about the 6 minute test? seems a good way to measure progress?

High In my research I came across "my fitness pal" from a link on the nhs choices site and I think its great to help monitor weight and exercise.
