does this warm damp (humid) weather affect many people, monday I was reasonably OK, but Tuesday and through the night I was really struggling to breathe,i checked the humidity for my area and it`s 88% so i guess that's not helping me much and neither is my ventolin

Hello Whit, I think the weather has a big effect on us, my sats were very low yesterday even with oxygen but you could also be coming down with something so if you continue to feel worse, see the doctor and he will listen to your chest and see if you need AB's. I seldom use my ventolin except when my chest feels tight and then it seems to help. Hope you feel better soon, huffer x
Good advice there Whit, from our huffer puffer.Cant add much more, living in a warm climate,I am not to keen on the humidity either.Make sure you keep up the fluids!
Cheers Wendells x
HI Whit,
Humidity seems to affect me also.
I have a standing fan in my bedroom for use on warm clammy nights. It is a great help & they are inexpensive.Best wishes
I too have a fan on in my bedroom cannot sleep without it all year round
I have an air purifier that i put on when it is like this - it seems to help. But hot nights are a real pain,.
i read somewhere when its high humidity to keep your bedroom window closed at night !!!
