hi I have a heart condition and asthma and there is an array of inhalers (or combination of inhalers) that are available but only your asthma nurse and / or doctors can advise which is ok.

I have never been told you can't take inhaler with CAD but some maybe better than others.

I also find Asthma and Lung UK (charity) are really helpful with advise but only your doctor can advise correctly as they will have details of your heart condition.

in my situation i had an asthma flair up recently and after using blue inhaler too much was put on Fostair but it was causing trembling and caused me chest pain on one occasion. so GP said to not use and I'm going back on Clenil (brown) for now as preventer and blue one when required and see if works but if not going back to GP. Asthma UK advised on a couple of alternatives too. my asthma presents as a cough and mucus.

hope helps - it is highly unlikely they won't be able to find an inhaler that is ok or at least keeps asthma reasonably under control for you.

Good Luck
