Wrong size stents

During September 2022 I suffered NStemi heart attack. I had one stent fitted, however, they discovered my carotid artery was blocked and I needed surgery. I underwent Endarterectomy surgery. Unfortunately, I suffered a significant haematoma immediately after surgery and was place in an induced coma. I then suffered another heart attack two days after the surgery. I had two more stents fitted but immediately after the procedure the cardiologist informed me that he had made a mistake and fitted the wrong size stents. He reassured me that I would not suffer any ill effect (they are larger).

Is there anyone out there that has experience have the wrong size stents fitted?
