Tea time yesterday I got a sudden onset of pain in my chest that seemed to be brought on by movement, particularly if I bend forward and down, this lasted all night, throughout the night when I moved, but once I woke this morning it had gone. It has since returned but not as painful this afternoon. It did seem to be brought on by movement but if it was muscular why would it go suddenly to then return? Anyone had similar?

Central chest pain

get yourself booked in with a doctor. Or a faster checkup would be A n E. They will do a blood and ECG test. It could be many things , like pericarditis for example.
Thanks, yes I have spoken to my doctor so next step is tests you mentioned, had these done before and nothing showed so wondered if anyone else has similar and what it turned out to be? My doctors said likely trapped air or pulled muscle but obviously any pain around that area makes people worry more.
They can check with a simple blood test for Treponin to see if you have had a heart attack normal is around 14-16. 50/55 and above shows you’ve had a heart attack.
You can have a heart attack and not know it.
They found unexpected scar tissue in my left atrium when they went in to Ablate it. They said I’d had a heart attack some time in the past without knowing it.
I’ve got a lot going on with my heart last 14 months . So much severe chest pain and stabbing pains. On and off. In hospital 12 times last year every time my bloods always come back normal. Good luck
Hopefully, by now, you have taken steps to seek a consultation with a health professional about your chest pain. If not here is the NHS guidance which basically says get medical guidance.
Hi there, just a thought. Could it be Costochondritis perhaps?
