I take Verapamil 80mg 3 times a day and I have noticed at night if I take it at 8pm I go straight to sleep and I was just wondering if others feel tired on it. I am just scared of needing to go back in hospital

I suggest you discuss with your local pharmacist.

I have noticed that I'm really tired all the time like literally falling asleep during the day. I recently had my verapamil increased while I was in hospital, from 40mg to 120 mg at night. They said that it can have a sedation affect which at the time I didn't mind because I was going days without sleep because I felt so ill 🤒. 80 mg 3 times a day is alot cant imagine what that must be like x

I know it's only at night I get sleepy, the rest of the day I am fine but I read because it makes your heart rate slow so it makes you sleepy
