atenolol making me cold?

hello,

I had been on 50mg of atenolol for many years, was always okay on it. I took a break from it to try bisoprolol but have now been back on atenolol for a month. 2 weeks ago, they upped the dose to 100mg and I just keep getting this random coldness in my upper body and legs. It feels like an internal type of coldness (if that makes sense) I have other complex health issues but this is the only thing that has changed recently!

could this be linked?

there was an article on just this subject in Saga magazine recently. Yes the “alols” can indeed make your extremities feel cold.

Maybe a discussion with the pharmacist employed by your doctor’s group of practices would be beneficial.
