Transthoracic Exercise stress echo

Wow I've never had one of these tests before and I'm bit nervous but glad there being thorough. Got this a month afyer my appointment in London. Because I'm asymptomatic then they want to see how exercise affects my valve when exercising be interested to see what the test shows and whether it's time for my valve replacement surgery 😳. Sorry haven't been on here that much lately had so much going on been well stressing me out anyway hope your all keeping well!!! ❤️

I havent had either of those scans before so cant help from experience.It does sound like your being well monitered and cared for.....in my opinion the more tests the better and if anything is found it can be treated promptly.Im sure both scans will be fairly routine and stress free....I wish you well for both of them and your continuing progress.

Gold standard service , I'd be happy to get such thorough examination....sounds odd but I'd probably be quite excited to see how it all works.What a relief to be checked so well. Take Care and try to think positive thoughts , Bee

hello Yumz, just to say hope all goes well with the echo, I had a stress echo in December would that be the same that your having? Either way had it done the staff and doctor looking after me were brilliant everything was fine clear result - I was nervous having it done but so glad I was able to have this check let us know how you go on take care 😊

Don't worry Yumz, this one's a breeze. (It's the same as your normal echo, only they do two: one before and one after a bit of time on the treadmill.)
