Stress from ED? A vicious circle?

My ED seems to have gotten worse and despite a larger dose of the usual prescribed med, I’m still not able to maintain a satisfactory erection.

it’s causing stress in the bedroom for all parties.

Does anybody have any experience and advice please?

Thanks

I struggled as well and I was only on 1.25mg, as soon as I came off it everything was back to normal. Now, it could be other things, psychological for instance, but it's a known side effect. Have you asked your GP why you are on it? I believe there is a growing feeling that these drugs are just handed out like smarties and that a lot of people are actually worse off when on them. Of course if you have a damaged heart or other good reasons it may be better to be on them, but many people do not and seem to be on them more or less for the sake of it.

I would speak to your GP personally.

Are you talking about bisoprolol?

I take 2.5mg am and 2.5mg and on top of that my gp put amolidopine all for high blood pressure.

We have another current thread about this problem: healthunlocked.com/bhf/post... Sadly someone made a nasty, unsympathetic remark, which is NOT typical of this group. There are also constructive comments.

They’re very expensive but if you’re prescribed medication for ED which no longer works I ask your doc to prescribe a vacuum pump.

Takes a while to get use to but much more effective and reliable.
