One of the most common problems with long term TYPE 1 insulin dependant diabetes is ED and I’m not embarrassed to say I suffer with this and have done for the last 25yrs or more having had Type 1 diabetes for 43yrs now. Most type 1’s, don’t seem to suffer with diabetic complications for many years but when they start there are many issues that take hold. I know there are medications that deal with ED effectively.
I just wondered, if heart related medication can make this problem (Bisoprolol, Ramipril, Atorvastatin, Thyroxine for thyroid, Asprin) worse)?
Thanks

I was told by my GP that Bisaprolol can exacerbate the ED effect of heart disease, so he lowered my dosage (also to lower the effect of cold fingers and toes). As well as this he gave me the little blue pills, which after a different dosage work quite well, although they can take the spontaniety out of the situation :0
Good luck with what you decide and I wish you well
