I’m writing on here for maybe reassurance, or maybe some information, had back chest and arm pains and breathless and doctors aren’t worries, had countless ammount of echos, EKGs in past, and they are kind of similar pains to them, this has been going on 4 weeks, oxygen, heart rate, listened to my lungs, all perfect and blood pressure

I am so sorry you are struggling and are in pain. You doing the right thing by getting it checked out. I am not sure what reassurance I can give you but I would say do not underestimate what your brain and imagination are capable of. These things can take hold and it is so hard to shake them off, I think it's our body's way of trying to protect itself by going over and over all the scenarios it could be. But this is very real for you and I do understand that. It is the emotional impact it has as well as any physical symptoms and that can be just as challenging. Keep strong. Anxiety is just as much of an illness as a physical one. Just because you cannot see it does not make it any less real. It might be worth going back to the doctor and letting them know you are struggling with the emotional side of all this. I wish you every bit of good luck. Take care

Since being the gp this morning my breathing has been so so much better, so even if it comes back I know it was physiological, I think because reading stories where people get mis diagnosed etc I was worried but everything seems to be a lot better, and thankyou :)

You have a lot of wisdom. The mind body connection is important as well. Fear can play havoc if we let it.

If this can be caught on a echodiogram then yes as I’ve had one, but they haven’t brought anything like that up

It can not be diagnosed by echocardiogram - there are specific tests for these conditions but awareness of these conditions is still poor - check out some of the suggested links from posts by Milkfairy
