i don't know if this is normal or even common but any chest pain of this type should be checked - there could be other issues underlying your heart failure which are causing these symptoms and whether or not they are heart-related this needs attention as it is unhelpful in the long-term and distressing for you

please try to keep a note of these pains, when they happen, how often, what you are doing at the time, how much they affect your day-to day acivities etc - this can be helpful in spotting any pattern and identifying the cause - it will also help you answer the sort of questions a doctor might ask if you have kept some record of what is happenning

if your getting chest pains contact 111 if you can’t get a gp appointment. I have severe HF whenever I get chest pains, which happens sometimes, I usually get a doctors appointment and as they don’t have ECG machine they send me to a&e with a letter to get tests done. Not everyone as the same NHS as me so that’s why I think you should speak to 111 and don’t wait on appointment

I have exactly the same sensation/symptoms. My cardiologist has advised exactly as other replies: you'll need to get then checked out every time until your consultant is satisfied that it is not an indication of something significant.

If I get unusual chest sensations / pains I go straight to the ER (A&E). You need to go somewhere with the appropriate diagnostic equipment and they should have it.
