I have been on heart medication for 5yrs now and was diagnosed with diluted cardiomyogenic and steadily my EF as been slowly declining, At the start I was diagnosed with an EF of 35% and now in January 2025, although it as remain stable from April 2024 of 25% E/F with highest doses of heart medication such as Entrestro , however, there as been no change.
I recently had a gentic test in July 2024 to see whether my condition is inherited or organic. However looking at my family history my mother had the same condition and due to health complication she was not able to have a heart transplant but was given a triple bypass.
The doctors are now going to make a referral to the heart transplant team to be considered for a heart transplant. I am worried but also the news was expected at some point. As stated above I do have some awareness of the procedures/assessment and whatever come out of the assessment I will accept the outcome.

Have you been referred to Royal Papworth in Cambridge or somewhere else?. I had a heart transplant review last week so know what that involves, its two long days of going through lots of tests to assess your health and possibility of a transplant.
If you would like to know anything about the review, I'm happy to share my experience
I can't help feeling that there should be another word after diluted and myogenic, both these are adjectives - they describe something (words naming an attribute of a noun) - so there should be a noun, like response, activity etc
