Is anyone familiar with this medication? My cardiologist mentioned it as a replacement for Zetia for cholesterol.

I suspect the brand names are confusing people. Zetia is straight Ezetimibe whereas Bexlizit is a combination of Bbempedoic Acid and Ezetimibe. Neither is a statin but they can be used in combination with statins Usually Ezetimibe is used where the person has very high inherited cholesterol or is intolerant to statins (the number is far less than the keyboard warriors would have you believe).
