probably best to talk to your dispensing pharmacist if this doesn’t show on the pack insert.

I took about 2 months to reduce and then stop…. Cutting tablets into little pieces gradually. No ill effects. Anxiety back but insomnia is definitely helped by magnesium.

Never suffered from insomnia my body just went into fight or flight over something stupid ,been of 3 days now ,will look into magnesium ,i quit the smokes after 37 years without tapering so did the same here plus it helps just flushing them all

I was prescribed for the same thing. I started sleeping well from the first tablet. Too well! Felt drugged all day. Coming off I did the same thing, broke them in half but still felt drugged. I stopped taking it and it did take a few days to clear my system. After advice I started listening to ASMR recordings that encouraged sleep. That is my go to method now of relaxing if having sleep problems. It may not be for everyone and you have to be careful to choose the "genuine" ASMR artist

Ive been of 3 days now ,sleeping ok ,Gps just prescribe tablets rather than actually get to the problem ,

You may need to reduce them very slowly because withdrawal can be bad.

I’ve been tapering since last January reducing each fortnight or month by 10% or 5% each time.

Not tapering just prolongs them ,ive been of 3 days now no symptons sleeping 6 hours , best just get it over with it

Unfortunately, withdrawal can kick in days or weeks after stopping.

They will kick in then wether you taper or not so in just getting on with it

I wish I was brave enough to do that but I’m scared ! I get symptoms with every reduction I do and they are tiny amounts so I’m scared just stopping now will be worse 😢
