I hope you all had a great Christmas I was worried about all the crap food I ate and felt guilty after having heart attack six months ago but was proud of myself for not drinking or smoking for the first Christmas in 30 plus years but I felt fabulous and had a lot more money to spend on my family because of it I also found out two weeks before Christmas I was awarded high rate pip because of my condition now, so I’m very happy and grateful for the coming year to be a fantastic one for me where as 2024 was the worse year ever xx

Lots of others found 2024 hard going so you're not the only one who feels like that!

With myself I was extremely disappointed earlier on in the year when I started a job only for it not to work out and now time has gone by I feel by accident when I got shouted at there for no good reason I was done a favour but at the time it felt like the world had ended!

I felt guilty over how much I spent on going out on Boxing day and on festive food feeling I didn't deserve those things but I did nothing wrong it's not like I took those things from others is it?

A few days over indulging will not put you back too much and I know how you feel. I too have eaten way too much these last few days and do not feel too good because of it. New Years resolution, to walk and not take the car if its a journey of less than a mile. Walk at least 3 miles a day and cut out the sugar. Ive already taken one big box of celebrations in to work for my colleagues to finish off. Just return to all the good you were doing before and Happy New Year. Only having had a couple of glasses of wine in the last few days I am amazed at how good I feel . Take care

Well done for not smoking or drinking over Christmas. That is a huge step. Don’t beat yourself up for over indulging on the food for a few days. You can get back to normal once all the temptations have gone. I hope you have a happy and healthy 2025 x
