doing some research and found omeprazole increases. beta amyloids the more one uses if susceptible to things like Alzheimer’s. Has anyone an altertive that doesn’t give the nasty side affects ? Ie like dizziness …foggy head etc

H2 blockers (famotidine) are an alternative. I was put on an H2 blocker to start with, so I can’t really compare them to a PPI. But I don’t get any side effects.

I take famotidine after ranitidine went off market. Can't tolerate PPIs. NO side effects at all.

famotodine for me as well. Had a lot of non pleasant side affects on omeprazole
